Congratulations to Mark Smith and Barbara Matthews who have recently qualified as Skippers with the Baldwin Trust. We take great pride in the training and qualifications our boat Skipper's receive. The safety and comfort of our passengers is of utmost importance to us, which is why each of our skippers:

* hold the NCBA certificate for Boat Management

* are Level 3 first aid trained, including correct use of a defibrillator

* undertake a minimum of 20 hours training before completing the skipper assessment

* have annual refresher training

* renew their qualifications every 5 years

The NCBA certificate for Boat Management covers a comprehensive range of skills, including craft knowledge, boat handling, supporting groups on board and key safety issues.

Our Skippers and crew are pleased to share their knowledge with you, so you can have a go at steering the boat under their expert tuition or test your strength opening the locks; you can be assured that your safety and comfort are our number one priority at all times.
