This photo captures a unique moment in Baldwin Trust history - our first all female crew! Barbara qualified as a skipper this year, while Kay and Heather joined us as volunteers in 2023.  At the Baldwin Trust, we pride ourselves on the level of training undertaken by all our volunteers.  Our Skippers undertake a minimum of 20 hours training before completing their NCBA assessment, are Level 3 First Aid trained, and undergo annual refresher training.  All our support crew volunteers have a full day of in-depth training with experienced skippers, before joining trips as a trainee to hone their skills.   Volunteering with the Baldwin Trust creates opportunities to learn new skills in a supportive environment, get outdoors, keep physically active and make new friends;  if you're interested in finding out more, do get in touch.
